Install & get started
Start with one concrete goal.
Focus will be available through the Chrome Web Store after approval. The official installation link will appear on the Focus homepage. Once installed, pin Focus, set a goal and review the privacy notice to begin. No account is needed.

Your score starts at 80.
Relevant pages earn points; partly related pages earn more slowly. Neutral pages keep your score steady. Distracting pages have 15 active seconds of grace before deductions begin. Scores change with active browsing time, not every tab switch. Rewards slow near 100, and penalties slow near 0.
Correct a decision
You know your work best.
If a page is misclassified, correct it in the Focus popup. You can also exclude a site. Corrections guide future scoring without rewriting your earlier score. More specific goals and readable public page content help the evaluation.
Free time & breaks
Count the time you actually use.
Free includes 60 active, evaluated minutes daily. Paused, idle, excluded pages, waiting and failed evaluations do not consume it. It resets at midnight in the time zone used when this installation first started. A browser restart restores session state without charging time while the browser was closed.
Permissions & privacy
Know what you are sharing.
During an agreed focus session, your goal, active page domain, title and limited text are sent to KeepNest and Vercel AI Gateway for evaluation. Forms, editable fields, sensitive pages and full URL queries are excluded. You can pause or revoke consent. Local summaries can be exported or cleared.

Free does not need an account. Sign in when you choose to upgrade or restore Focus Pro. KeepNest collector Pro does not include Focus Pro. To restore an existing Focus subscription, sign in from the Focus extension using the Google account that owns it.

A clear next step.
If a page is not evaluated, confirm your session is running, Chrome is in front, the tab is active and page access is allowed. Private or restricted pages are skipped. Network errors keep your score unchanged: check your connection and retry. After updating an unpacked extension, reload it and refresh existing tabs.
