Disclosure and comparison method
KeepNest is our product. This guide compares documented workflows, not a scored test or a claim that KeepNest is best for everyone. The official pages below were checked on October 10, 2026. Product features and plans can change; confirm the provider’s current terms before choosing.
We focus on three jobs: bookmarking a known post, organizing an existing collection, and automatically collecting new relevant posts as you browse. These require different tools. We did not verify every competing extension or purchase every plan, so no untested price, accuracy, security or full-archive claim is included.
Quick workflow comparison
| Option | Documented workflow | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Native X Bookmarks | Manually save posts into X’s private bookmarks timeline | You need a simple way back to a known post |
| Dewey | Bookmark sync and export workflows documented in its help center | You want a tool centered on organizing saved collections |
| Tweetsmash | Search, labels, folders, exports and scheduled digests | You want to revisit an existing collection through multiple formats |
| TweetStorm | Extension sync, text search and smart folders | Organize existing X bookmarks |
| Circleboom | Bookmark management and backup workflows | Manage bookmarks alongside an X account |
| Raindrop.io | Web collections, tags and filters | Organize references across websites |

Native X bookmarks: the simple starting point
X’s official help describes saving a post with its bookmark control and viewing the private bookmarks timeline. That is sufficient when you know which posts you want to return to. It does not involve creating a separate KeepNest library.

Dewey: saved-collection workflows
Dewey’s help center documents bookmark synchronization and export workflows, with separate instructions for exporting Twitter bookmarks, Google Sheets, Notion and RSS. If migration or organizing a collection you have already chosen is your main task, inspect those documented flows first. We do not claim their storage, completeness or current prices were independently tested.

Tweetsmash: retrieval and multiple output formats
Tweetsmash describes text search, labeling, folders and PDF, CSV or JSON exports, together with scheduled digests. These features are relevant when your priority is reviewing an established collection. Its own documentation is the source for this summary; confirm current integration availability and plan requirements before paying.

Three other workflows worth considering
TweetStorm documents extension sync, text search, tags and rule-based smart folders. Advanced filtering and export depend on the plan. This organizes existing bookmarks; it is different from KeepNest selecting unbookmarked posts while you browse.
Circleboom publishes bookmark management and backup instructions within its broader X account service. Check permissions and current plans before connecting. We have not independently tested historical coverage or restoration.
Raindrop.io describes collections, tags and filters for a general web-bookmark library. Consider it for references across websites. Saving a link does not necessarily preserve all post text and media; verify the content and integration you need.

KeepNest: collect by interest, then use the references
KeepNest’s main difference is before the save: confirm what matters, browse X normally, and let the rule select matching complete visible posts. Local search, category instructions and manual Obsidian sync help you use the material afterward. Free includes 3,000 completed AI screenings and 20 AI-organized items monthly; Pro is $4.99/month or $49/year and removes the monthly AI limits.
Choose another approach if you primarily need a complete historical bookmark migration, guaranteed offline media, full-thread crawling, mobile capture, shared team spaces or automatic vault writing. KeepNest currently does not provide those guarantees. Choose based on the recurring job, then verify a few real references in your own workflow.
